DENT-X has developed a new dental imaging technology with EVA® (Enhanced Visual Assessment) "second generation" radiography system. While many digital dental X-ray systems use a CCD imager to capture the X-ray data, the DENT-X system, utilizes "Active Column Sensor" CMOS technology. This technology reduces the complexity of the sensor while offering the following advantages over traditional CCD technology.
